The Cliff House Resort and Spa on Maine’s beautiful south coast is celebrating its 140th season with specials
designed for people who love the coast of Maine. The Cliff House opened
in 1872 when Elsie Jane Weare, great-grandmother of Innkeeper Kathryn
Weare, hosted prominent Gilded Age guests like the Biddles, Cabots and
Lodges atop Bald Head Cliff.
