Holland America Line Launches "Nieuw Statendam Sets Sail" Sweepstakes to Celebrate Upcoming Debut of Its Newest Ship in December

Seattle, Washington, April 30, 2018 — To celebrate the upcoming debut of its newest ship in December 2018, Holland America Line has launched the Nieuw Statendam Sets Sail sweepstakes, for the chance to win a seven-day cruise for two, in 2019 aboard the new ship. The sweepstakes runs through June 15, 2018, and the winner will be announced June 30, 2018.

To enter the Nieuw Statendam Sets Sail sweepstakes, participants must visit HALNieuwStatendamSweeps.com and fill out the entry form.

Once that form is complete, one additional entry can be earned by sharing the sweeps on Facebook or Twitter, for a total of two entries.

"We’re eagerly anticipating the arrival of Nieuw Statendam, and we want to share our enthusiasm by giving someone the chance to win a cruise on our beautiful new ship," said Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line. "Nieuw Statendam is going to be an incredible addition to our fleet and this sweepstakes is a way for us to do something special for our loyal guests and fans."

The grand prize winner will receive a seven-day cruise in 2019 for two to the Caribbean or Europe in a verandah stateroom aboard Nieuw Statendam. The new ship will be exploring the golden beaches and sun-kissed skies of the Caribbean on roundtrip Fort Lauderdale, Florida, cruises through April. Following an inaugural season in the Caribbean, Nieuw Statendam will cross the Atlantic Ocean and spend the summer and fall exploring northern Europe and the Mediterranean. The ship returns to the Caribbean in October 2019.

Nieuw Statendam Sets Sail sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Québec) who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry.

Rosewood Half Moon Bay Antigua To Open in 2021

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® has been appointed by Vancouver-based property development company, Replay Destinations, to manage Rosewood Half Moon Bay Antigua in the West Indies. The former Half Moon Bay Hotel was established in the 1950’s, and for decades was a sought-after vacation destination and resort playground for the international jet set.

Set to open in 2021, the new Rosewood resort will feature 47 pavilion-style suites, including an ultra-luxurious, three-bedroom presidential suite. Each accommodation will feature breath-taking ocean views, private infinity plunge pools, hammocks, open-air baths and showers and live orchid walls in each bathroom.

Influenced by historic Caribbean and architectural pioneers, the resort's design aesthetic will evoke a classic, timeless feel coupled with modern amenities and services.

Rosewood Half Moon Bay Antigua will also offer an exclusive residential component comprised of branded oceanfront villas, and 13 extraordinary estate home parcels. The crown jewel property which was previously owned by the Mellon Family, is perched on a dramatic bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Innovative dining and lounge concepts will be inspired by the flavors, colors, and culture of the West Indies.

The resort will have a pool grill and beach bar, as well as an on-site organic farm. Additional property amenities will include two pools, one for adults and one for families, a fitness center, and tennis courts. Sense, a Rosewood Spa, will offer an indulgent experience with six signature treatment rooms and locally inspired treatments.

Located adjacent to a 27-acre national park, Rosewood Half Moon Bay Antigua is ideally situated to explore the stunning natural surroundings. A curated selection of immersive activities and unique excursions will showcase the best of the island.

Rosewood Half Moon Bay will join a regional network of distinctive Rosewood properties in the region, including Rosewood Baha Mar, slated to open in Spring 2018, Rosewood Bermuda which will undergo a complete renovation to be unveiled in May 2018, and Rosewood Little Dix Bay, slated to re-open at a later date.

Vintage Christmas in Portsmouth, a Christmas by the Sea Package, Christmas Eve Dinner at Langham, Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurants in MA
